I am at the end of Y1 in NUS. Y2 Semester 1 will begin in 2 months time and I’m not ready.

Why?

Because it means that I am no longer a freshman.

I don’t think I can live up to the name of being a senior. There are so many seniors that I have in school that I look up to. Seniors who are talented and skilful in their own respects. Some are creative while there are others that just know how to communicate with people. There are some that are really athletic while there are others that are just plain pious and religious.

Those seniors are who I strive to be but looking at who I am now, I don’t think I can live up to their standards.

I don’t know. I just think that they are in a whole different league and I’m trying my best to catch up to them.

In layman terms, they’re just #goals.

I just hope that at the end of my 4-year stint in NUS, I will be seen by the juniors as one of those seniors that they can look up to. I just want to be a driving force for change, a person that juniors can get motivation from.

I will continue to work hard and emulate these legendary seniors.
