Remove the unwanted

In our daily lives that is filled with overconsumption, we tend to be dragged into the act of consuming more and more even when we do not need it. We fall into the trap of always wanting more despite the fact that whatever we have at home is enough.

Why do we do that? Should we blame our environment, the government?

No. Blame yourself.

We should strive to cut as much unwanted nonsense from our lives as much as possible. This does not mean that we have to embrace the minimalism life but we should at least not clutter our lives with needless things that would just collect dust.

Decluttering has been proven to be therapeutic and also freeing. I, myself have been striving to make my life more efficient, cleaner and simpler but apart from the mess of the wardrobe, I think I’m doing a pretty good job. Maybe tomorrow, I might declutter some more.
